Kicking off its Gamescom 2018 Special, Inside Xbox’s first major reveal was Crytek’s Hunt: Showdown coming to Xbox One. Last week, a report from investment firm the Cowen Group pointed out that Battlefield 5 pre-orders have been below expectations. This week, the company revealed a few more details. In a note to CNBC, analyst Doug Creutz said that Battlefield 5 pre-orders are below other anticipated fall games like Black Ops 4, Red Dead Redemption 2, and even Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

The Battlefield 5 beta has finally been given a solid date. On stage at Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 20 series reveal, Nvidia’s Jensen Huang announced that the Battlefield 5 beta will kick off on Thursday, September 6.
