CD Projekt Red has committed to offering continued support to the PS4 version of Cyberpunk 2077 as it targets a return to the PlayStation Store for the game. Following quality concerns and customer complaints, Sony has removed the game from the PlayStation Store “until further notice” and started offering refunds to customers who purchased it through the online marketplace.

Cyberpunk 2077 players have been finding that their save files permanently corrupt after reaching the arbitrary limit of 8MB. Add another issue to the ever growing pile. It turns out that Cyberpunk 2077 save files will corrupt and become unrecoverable if they reach 8MB in size. The save file news comes from the GOG.com Support Center, which details the issue and a possible way around it:

A new Cyberpunk 2077 update has been released on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S alongside official patch notes, and according to CD Projekt Red, the update is "coming soon" to PC and Google Stadia as well. If you happened to be there for the initial launch of Fallout 76, you may remember it being something of a dumpster fire, to put it mildly.
