Homefront number one in UK despite poor reviews
Despite the poor reviews, Homefront has managed to secure top spot in the latest UK weekly sales charts. To its credit, Homefront was backed by a huge marketing and advertising campaign. The remaining top titles went as follows - Dragon Age II, Pokemon White, Shogun 2 and Pokemon Black.

Hacker removes security encryption on ps3 HDD
His house may have been raided by police and he is currently in a legal battle with Sony, but that hasn't stopped GRAF_Chokolo from disabling PS3 hard drive encryption. Through his work it is possible to use a PS3 HDD in any other PS3 console.

EA takes the easy way out, removes Crysis 2 PS3 demo
Fast forward 24 hours and you will not be able to play the Crysis 2 demo. Why? Because EA are removing it from the PS3's servers. Many gamers had trouble getting a game online and experienced numerous delays on the demo. Homefront discounted just one day after its launch day
THQ has slashed the price of Homefront in the US as a result of the game receiving poor reviews. Due to the poor reviews of Homefront, THQ's stock tumbled by as much as 20% recently. Therefore, the publisher is using a price cut as a way of driving up demand and getting closer to its 'break even' target of 2 million copies.
