Today Sledgehammer Games announced that the open multiplayer beta of Call of Duty: WWII on PC will begin on September 29th on Steam, ending on October 2nd. The beta includes just a small part of the whole multiplayer experience of the game, but it shall be enough to get a taste of the game and to test the netcode, as it happened with PS4 and Xbox One players. The Xbox One has released an updated version of the console’s OS to Insiders, and a new feature has some gamers wondering what’s next. Microsoft has announced that it is bumping the capture resolution of Xbox One’s Game DVR to 1080p. Currently, Xbox One and Xbox One S users are limited to capturing at 720p, but that cap will be lifted in the near future. The Grand Theft Auto V modding community has set its sights on another city ripe for recreation. The latest PS4 firmware update, update 4.74, is available now- and like all non full version updates for PS4, it seems to do absolutely nothing. The patch notes cite only system performance improvements as changes, which is just a euphemism for the vaunted ‘stability’ updates that consoles are so famous for. Microsoft just released the complete list of games which will be Xbox One X Enhanced. There are some surprises in there like The Division and Quantum Break. Even Mafia III makes an appearance. It’s surprising because many insiders, particularly on NeoGAF, said that these games would never get upgrades as Take-Two and Ubisoft have moved on. The complete list is as follows.
