Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare listed on PS Store

Two Call of Duty rumors have popped up online today: one is that it’s set for a reveal next week, the other: it’s subtitled Infinite Warfare.

A reveal date of May 3 was posted online through a retailer, according to a tweet from Jim Sterling. The listing has a “replace header image” notation next to it and “call of Duty reveal” next to it.

Then over on reddit, user Goontmyfries found what appears to be a listing for the title Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare listed on the PlayStation Store.

Previous rumors regarding the title stated the Infinity Ward-developed shoot would be set in the far future and features space combat between “warring sci-fi groups.”

Activision said in early March the game would debut at E3 this year. It is also reportedly releasing in early November, which is likely accurate considering the franchise’s previous release history.

As far as Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or the rumored May 3 reveal date is concerned, we’ll send Activision an email and ask about it. If we hear back, we’ll let you know.

In the meantime, it’s still considered a rumor for obvious reasons.

So, Infinite Warfare for space? Or Infinite Warfare for Infinity Ward, which then could be a Modern Warfare collection title? I really hope the latter. I'm not one to trash Black Ops 3 and whatnot, but I feel the Modern Warfare games on the newer consoles would be amazing.

I will definitely be watching E3 and looking forward to hearing more about this. Like Dil said I just wish they would keep it simple and it would be much more fun to me. I hate all this futuristic stuff and the last 3 CoDs have been horrible to me.

I'll be looking forward to a reveal but I hope they keep the game simplistic as I enjoy games like that much more than what they have released for the past 2 years.

I'm kind of anxious for a trailer, I'm really hoping its boots on ground combat. I'm getting sick of people flying around.

I never liked BLOPS 1 or 2 other than for zombies and ghosts and AW were both awful. The chances are, if this game is awful, I'm going to be playing bo3 for a while. Especially if the next black ops etc is bad. Gives me time to get the dark matter ;)
I'll end up buying all of them though because that's what you've got to do...

Just waiting for a "feet on the ground" CoD game on PS4 that is NOT Ghosts. Rumors tell me that this will not be the case of 2016. Hopefully Sledgehammer won't create Advanced Warfare 2 in 2017. I like Black Ops 3 though, but mainly for its zombies.
