Not Every Xbox Game Will Come To Windows 10, Says Phil Spencer

4.7
Microsoft has moved to announce more and more of its games for Windows 10 PCs, we have begun to wonder at the wisdom of the strategy, since it completely nullifies the need to own an Xbox in the first place– at some fundamental level, consoles still need exclusives to justify their existence.

It seems that, on some level at least, Microsoft does agree with us, because Xbox head Phil Spencer has spoken out, assuring fans that not all Xbox exclusives will be coming to Windows 10.

Speaking to IGN in a podcast, Spencer said that Microsoft is more committed to consoles than it has ever been, and that not all Xbox One games will come to Windows 10 too.

Of course, with titles such as Scalebound, Forza Horizon 3, and Gears of War 4 all variously starting to be rumored for PCs too, at this point, I am not sure how seriously I want to take what he says. It is time for Microsoft to put their money where their mouth is.
