Bungie Asks Why You Haven't Been Playing Destiny

4.6
Bungie is worried about the number of players not playing their game.

When Destiny strolled onto the scene in 2014, millions logged on to complete Raids, Strikes and fight other Guardians in the Crucible. Now, it’s less busy and the developer wants to know why.

Destiny players who haven’t logged into the game over the last month have received an email from Bungie asking them why they’ve been dormant and if they will be returning to the shooter in the future.

Those who did log into Destiny recently also received an email from the developer, asking them to rate their experience from 1 to 5 – 5 being ‘Very Fun’ and 1 being ‘Not so Fun.’

With the release of Tom Clancy’s The Division, many will be tempted to jump ship from the sci-fi and give Ubisoft’s upcoming role-playing title a swing.

Do you still play Destiny often? Let us know how much in the comments below.

Lyttle I haven't received the email and I haven't played in a while... I stopped because of the microtransactions.

That's really not valid at all. Micro transactions are almost hidden and don't matter. That is, unless you are a sparrow addict

PayDough I loved destiny, I stopped playing just because of how you'd have to buy the whole game again just for the taken king. That's just stupid as ****. It's basically dlc. I also quit because I moved from ps3 to xboxone. I'd still play if you could transfer characters from different consoles.

You didnt need to buy the game again! hahaha TTK could be purchased stand alone

I played every day up until The Taken King expansion was released. Afterwards, I played less frequently for two reasons:

1. College. Nuff said
2. I felt that all the content I played before (Raids, Prison of Elders, Strike playlist, etc) had been rendered useless. And I'm not the only one who thinks this.

If there is something I would request for the game going forward, it would be to allow ALL old content to be given a higher-level difficulty option EVERY time more content is released/max level cap is raised. This includes enemy and boss difficulties, spawn rates and loot drops in all missions, strikes and raid activities. This would keep a 'TTK part 2' from happening again - in which Destiny would most likely not survive as it did the first time. It's quite simple.

In short: Add a higher difficulty button on everything, and bring up attack/defense numbers for enemies and loot on those higher difficulties. I miss my Vision of Confluence.

That, Bungie, is why I haven't been playing Destiny.

This game was alright but no where near as fun as Dark Souls 2 and BloodBorne and those keep me busy.

Not playing because this game is horrible. Simple enough.
