During the livestreams for the Season 1 finals of the Gears of War ESL league The Coalition Studio Hear Rod Fergusson revealed that the older chapters of the series available on Xbox One via backward compatibility have been quite popular.

According to Fergusson, among the nine most popular backward compatible titles, four were Gears of War and its sequels, 2, 3 and Judgement.

Quite obviously, the Xbox community loves Gears of War, so this isn’t too surprising. Hopefully we’ll get more news on Gears of War 4 soon to quench that thirst.
