Verizon Built A Semi-Working Smartphone In Minecraft

4.6
Minecraft has been known to be a creative playground for many, and Verizon has just stepped up to the plate in a huge way by building a working smartphone.

Although Minecraft does offer a wide range of tools and almost anything can be built, there were always limitations when it came to interacting with the real world. Verizon took that challenge upon itself, partnered with Minecraft's brightest, and created a fully functioning smartphone. The smartphone is able to text/MMS, browser the web and even make video calls.

Naturally, the imag you see on the smartphone's screen aren't the prettiest as they consist of the same blocky and pixelated textures that encompass the game as a whole.

That's incredible, like when another user created a working calculator using redstone!

Nationalism I cant imagine the amount of time and redstone (assuming it was made using redstone and not mods) it took to create this. I cant even make a simple sliding door with redstone, and then they go and do this.

You obviously didn't even watch the video, yes, mods were involved. This makes it unimpressive asf. Nothing even relatively close to this would be possible without mods.

Still cool, but it's not like, a feat. Just the best "phone" mod to come to Minecraft, ever.
