343 Says Not To Expect Campaign DLC for Halo 5: Guardians

4.7
Halo 5: Guardians was just released for the Xbox One this week, and players have responded well to the game’s multiplayer but had some complaints about the story and length of the campaign. In a recent interview with Red Bull, 343’s creative director Josh Holmes offered some insight into the design of the campaign and shot down hopes of any spin-off downloadable content.

First off, Holmes asserted that Guardians‘ campaign is significantly longer than that of Halo 4, with the caveat that you take the time to track down all of the hidden intel and skulls. He also came out and said that no episodic add-ons are in development to continue the story of Halo 5: Guardians.

“While we’re always looking for new ways to expand the Halo universe, we do not currently have any plans to release future campaign content for Halo 5: Guardians.”

Halo 5: Guardians is now available exclusively for the Xbox One.

Rawrrrrrr It's not exactly easy to just artifically extend the campaign story so I can understand this

Yeah, though didn't say anything about multiplayer content. Halo 5 is just to keep me busy til BO3 and Rise of Tomb Raider, once those games are out I'll probably never play Halo 5 again lol
