Call of Duty: Black Ops III Runs in 30fps on Xbox 360 & PS3

Beenox and Mercenary Technology are handling last generation’s versions of Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and they have tried to achieve 60fps, but didn’t succeed.

Beenox Creative Director Thomas Wilson explained the situation, and said they tried to reach 60fps, but it was hard to do so. They are targeting 30fps for now, but he reassured everybody that “the experience is very enjoyable.”

We’re basically looking more at something like 30fps. But still, the experience is very enjoyable, otherwise it’s not Call of Duty.”

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions won’t have a single-player campaign as well.

Call of Duty: Black Ops III launches on November 6 PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

I agree, $50 for no story or 60 fps, sounds a little outrages to me.


You people wouldn't notice the difference of 30FPS anyways, so don't complain about it.

It's like the Xbone. Most of the first games came out in 30FPS when promised 60FPS and it 'Was just soo much better' than the old console.

I agree, though. No story = Less content = Less cost. Black Ops is the only Story I've followed, aside from the Zombies. The 360+PS3 Market doesn't matter to them anymore anyways.

I'm pretty sure all the past Call of Duty games ran @ 60FPS, I could be wrong though.


your wrong all games on last gen where 30fps current gen is the first consoles to do 60 fps i could also be wrong but i believe the old cods ran at 30fps


Call of duty took pride in having games at 60FPS on previous generation consoles since the release of CoD4.
But really, the point is.. current generation consoles have been out for 2 years now, if you had saved $15 a month since the release, you could afford one by now. it's time to get with the times and upgrade really. I wouldn't be surprised if they just don't even make games for 360 and Ps3 come this time next year.

They already did. It was 59.99 now it's 49.99 for last gen. Since they are not giving the "Full" CoD experience then yes I think it should be $40-45.
