Dead Island Definitive Edition Leaked By Retailer

Deep Silver may be working on a definitive edition of Dead Island, that’s if a listing from South African retailer Loot.co.za is to be believed.
Dead Island Definitive Edition is listed to be coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC and is scheduled to be released on November 13, 2015. The listing doesn’t disclose what we can expect from the Definitive Edition, such as graphical improvements, the inclusion of DLC content, or if Dead Island: Riptide will also be included.

Today’s news just comes days after Deep Silver announced it was pulling Yager from developing Dead Island 2. Considering how much longer it’ll take for fans of the series to get the sequel, releasing a Definitive Edition would ensure we don’t forget about the series any time soon. Deep Silver is no stranger to offering new versions of old properties as Risen 3: Titan Lord Enhanced Edition was announced for an August release and we already saw Saints Row 4 get re-released on current gen consoles.

Dead island is a great game, suggest you play it

Yeah it's pretty good. If you want basically a "newer" version get Dying Light, but I still like DI better.

Why would we want dead island 1? Dying light is 10 times better id rather play that and just wait for dead island 2 if they can resolve the companies split.

Petrucci Why would you release this when there is dying light? Its a lot better and sold a lot more copies than dead island.

just because its sold more doesnt mean it is better. Its all opinion, I couldnt stand dying light but dead island is ok I guess.

I actually like Dead Island better, don't know why.

Ive enjoyed the other dead island hopefully this is good
