Xbox Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare players who have purchased the game's season pass will receive early access to two guns featured in the game's first DLC pack.

Havoc, the game's first DLC pack, will launch "early next year", according to a post on the game's official news blog.

However, those with a season pass will get access to two weapons from the Havoc pack - the AE4 directed energy Assault Rifle and its custom variant, the AE4 Widowmakerearlier - on December 11.

"The AE4 combines a versatile firing mechanism with all-around movement speed and handling", the blog post states.

This offer only appears to be available to those with the Xbox One or Xbox 360 versions of the game, with the announcement describing it as "a bonus to Xbox Season Pass holders".

The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass costs $50 and grants buyers access to four DLC packs planned for release throughout 2015 - Havoc, Ascendance, Supremacy, and Reckoning - each containing new multiplayer content, typically including maps and modes.

Season pass holders also received an additional DLC multiplayer map on launch day. Called Atlas Gorge, the map is an enhanced remake of Call of Duty 4's Pipeline map.
