Double XP for Black Ops 2 & Ghosts Oct 27th - Oct 31st

Treyarch and Infinity Ward have announced that they will be activating Double XP for Black Ops 2 and Ghosts for all of next week. Double XP will start on Monday, Oct 27th at 10am PT and will end on October 31st at 10am PT.

Both events begin on Monday at 10am PST (5pm UK time) and end at the same time on October 31.

The Black Ops 2 event was officially announced on Treyarch's Twitter account, whereas the Ghosts one was tweeted by Infinity Ward at exactly the same time.

This is possibly the final major promotion for both games before the release of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which is set for release imminently.

The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare release date is November 4 on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.

Activision has announced that customers who purchase the game digitally on Xbox 360 or PS3 will be able to download the new-gen version within the same console family free of charge.

I will probably be playing some CoD Ghosts this week and try to prestige. I am already Master Prestige in Black Ops 2, but if some of my friends are playing it because of the double XP I will most likely be playing it too.

This game is more fun than Ghosts by a long shot.


It's much, much better than Ghosts. BUT, nothing will beat my favorite, Modern Warfare 3

xTriickz I assume they are doing this in anticipation of AW. I'll take advantage of it for BO2 since Ghosts isn't even worth playing anymore.


I got max level a long time ago on Bo2 and ghosts sucks balls. So yea play that bo2!
