iPhone 6 scores higher early adoption than 6 Plus

4.7
Apple's newly released iPhones don't seem to be enjoying equal sales as most consumers seem to have preferred the iPhone 6 over the larger iPhone 6 Plus.

According to app activity tracker Fiksu, which has set up an iPhone usage tracker, early adoption numbers are indicating that the standard iPhone 6 is the more popular iPhone out of the latest Apple smartphones.

iPhone 6 usage has managed to grow at nearly twice the rate of the 6 Plus over the launch weekend and throughout Monday. Apple announced that they had already sold 10 million iPhones over the weekend, however, it seems that there is a supply shortage of the 6 Plus leading to the slower adoption rate.

The combined adoption numbers for the iPhone 6 duo are twice those seen during the iPhone 5 launch and might even become Apple's best ever very soon going by the tracker's charts. Other charts available on the site have shown slower than expected iOS 8 adoption which may be due to users waiting for new devices rather than updating current ones.

Tell Well having the iPhone 6, I am glad I didn't get the 6+ due to the phones bending. Since the iPhone 6+ is bigger, it will bend easier.

Um, get a case then.. That'll prevent bend.

I know Ill be getting the 6 Plus, I like Apple but the only thing I didn't like was that there phones were tiny in my hands. I preferred the size of the Galaxy because it was huge compared to the iPhone.

The 6+ is the perfect size IMO. My mom has the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and they're the same size. I've always though that was a good size for a phone mostly used for games and social networking.

I wouldn't pay an extra $100 just for a bigger screen and stuff, no way.

Andy- I mean, why would someone pay $100 more dollars pretty much for a bigger screen and better resolution? And a better battery life. Just find it a bit pointless.

The 6+ in my opinion is ugly.

My exact thoughts. That's why they're seeing these stats. No one (except the rich) are going to spend that extra cash for something so little.
