iPhone 6 scores higher early adoption than 6 Plus

4.7
Apple's newly released iPhones don't seem to be enjoying equal sales as most consumers seem to have preferred the iPhone 6 over the larger iPhone 6 Plus.

According to app activity tracker Fiksu, which has set up an iPhone usage tracker, early adoption numbers are indicating that the standard iPhone 6 is the more popular iPhone out of the latest Apple smartphones.

iPhone 6 usage has managed to grow at nearly twice the rate of the 6 Plus over the launch weekend and throughout Monday. Apple announced that they had already sold 10 million iPhones over the weekend, however, it seems that there is a supply shortage of the 6 Plus leading to the slower adoption rate.

The combined adoption numbers for the iPhone 6 duo are twice those seen during the iPhone 5 launch and might even become Apple's best ever very soon going by the tracker's charts. Other charts available on the site have shown slower than expected iOS 8 adoption which may be due to users waiting for new devices rather than updating current ones.

I would prefer the regular 6 over the 6 plus. I just think it is too big.

The size is the reason the sales are higher

AudemarsPiguet Might as well get an iPad Mini if you're interested in the 6+

Agreed.

Theres no point in it the 6 is fine no need for a +

Exactly. The iPhone 7 will probably be an iPad with the phone app.

iPhone 6 > iPhone 6+ imo. I'm not a fan of phones that require you to have NBA Hands

OPPosted:

Well the plus screen is just to big.

LatencyPosted:

Thats because they dont want big screens.

Miss
Andy- I mean, why would someone pay $100 more dollars pretty much for a bigger screen and better resolution? And a better battery life. Just find it a bit pointless.

My exact thoughts. That's why they're seeing these stats. No one (except the rich) are going to spend that extra cash for something so little.

I find anything less than 1080p attrocious in 2014. I also need the extra battery life, it's only $100. The upgrades don't only appeal to the "rich" like you think.
