Advanced Warfare Will have 50 Ranks and 15 Prestige Levels

4.6
According to Sledgehammer Games co-founder Michael Condrey, it appears that the studio has settled on the number of ranks and Prestige levels that will be achievable in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer.

On Twitter, Schofield tweeted this image of what we think is the 7th Prestige symbol. He also wrote, “50/15,” which sounds a lot like the number of ranks/prestige levels that will be in the game.

Condrey indicated that the team was debating between 10 or 15 Prestige levels earlier last month. Traditionally, most Call of Duty titles hover between 50-55 ranks and around 10 Prestige levels, but it looks like Sledgehammer is upping that Prestige number up to 15.

Sound like a good number to you? Hopefully we can expect some sweet Prestige rewards along the way.

I find that having a lower amount of levels and a higher amount of prestiges only means it's harder to rank up.
I prefer it though, because if you don't want to prestige you can have everything at a lower level, even though it may be harder to get.

I'm glad they chose 15 prestiges, it will give the game more life. I want to know the benefits of prestiging.

As long as that doesn't mean 15 sets of classes again like on Ghosts! 15 prestiges will give a better challenge than 10, at least the whole game won't be complete in a month or two this time

15 prestige looks really cool !

This is exactly what I was hoping for! :)

That seems normal compared to the Modern Warfare series with 70 and 80 levels per prestige.

50 ranks and 15 prestige levels doesn't seem too bad in my eyes as long as the game has a suitable XP curve and all around fun gameplay. It will give players a lot of content to go through and the prestige system is quite rewarding... if i can recall Black Ops did something very similar to this and i quite enjoyed climbing up the ranks in that game. I will always prefer MW2s method of 70/10 but oh well

I would have preferred 55 levels and 10 prestiges like cod4, but 50 levels and 15 prestige doesn't sound bad, the game will last a bit longer for me.

Honestly I think that 50 levels and 15 prestiges is a great idea. I enjoy level 50 being max.
