PS4 to receive YouTube uploading this year

4.7
Sony Computer Entertainment America CEO Shawn Layden introduced the eagerly anticipated new sharing feature for the system.

"With a simple press of the DualShock 4 share button," Layden said, PS4 gamers can quickly upload captured footage to their YouTube channels.

Layden also noted that 95 percent of all PS4 systems are connected to the internet, and that the DualShock 4 controller's Share button has been pressed more than 220 million times already.

Cool feature for all the PS users. I personally don't have one but I'm thinking about getting one now.

This is a great feature and I am sure it will make a lot of gamers happy. I tried uploading a video to Youtube on my Xbox One once but it was a pain since I had to upload it to my OneDrive, download it on my PC, then upload it to my YouTube channel.

I am not really sure though if the Xbox One can do this yet too but I do remember reading something about it.

This is some good news to hear that they are adding this function for the PlayStation.

I think this is great. It is really surprising the lack of YouTube integration the next gen consoles had at launch and they are just now starting to integrate it now, even though YouTube is the world's largest video sharing site. It really makes YouTube a place for more people to share their moments and have people see what they are doing then when people had to have capture cards.

Oh yeah. This is some great news. I hate having to upload gameplay to Facebook. Then download the gameplay, and then have to upload it to YouTube.

Now this is an awesome feature right here. I never knew how to upload any type of videos to Youtube from my PC. It's so confusing so I hope that this is as easy as they say it will be.
