The Elder Scrolls Online delayed by half a year on next gen

3.8
Bethesda confirmed today it has delayed both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 iterations of their recent PC MMO "The Elder Scrolls Online" due to the "challenging process" of addressing the number of issues relevant to an MMO of this caliber being released on consoles. In a apparent stop gap to halt fan rage Bethesda has also announced a special offer for those who already own a PC or Mac copy of ESO, the offer will enable those individuals to claim a digital version of the title on either the Xbox or PS4 for $20 USD.

We continue to work on the console versions of ESO, and game development has been progressing steadily but we are still working to solve a series of unique problems specific to those platforms. Integrating our systems with each console manufacturer's networks -- which are both different from the PC/Mac system as well as different from each other-has been a challenging process. It has become clear that our planned June release of the console versions isn't going to be possible. Though we have made great progress, we have concluded that we'll need about six months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve.Bethesda

erickcamacho24 This game bacame a dissapointment when they announce you had to pay $15 a month when you are already paying for the full game and xbox live !

Just stop talking. There is a reason for the money, and why do you think the most successful MMo's have p2p? It pays for the development of the game..

Please listen, because erick is right. You pay $60 for the game, then you pay $60 for a year on xbox live. Now, ou pay 15 dollars a month for ESO. Thats $180 Dollars!!!!! Thats not including DLC, bonus weapons etc. SO your spending $300 dollars or 240 a year to even play ESO!!!. Thats ridiculous. I get them charging PC players, but being locked behind pay gates is to much. If you add in an Xbox One/PS4 bc maybe your PC can't play it, thats another 400-500 dollars.

What a kick to the ***. But i would rather play a finished game then a rushed one... They better have delayed it for incomplete issues, and not marketing like what GTA5 and its DLC.
