Facebook removing messaging from main mobile apps

4.1
Facebook has revealed that it is opting to completely remove the messaging portion from their main mobile applications. What this means for users is being forced into using two separate applications to actually use Facebook in a meaningful manner. At the moment our sources only indicate that iOS and Android users are slated to receive these changes while both Windows Phone and tablet users will continue to enjoy messaging in the base Facebook application.

This is totally stupid. They're doing what Microsoft has done with the Xbox One. If you want the Xbox One, you have to get the Kinect with it. And if you wanna message somebody, they are forcing you to get another app in-order to message somebody.

They must be trying to claw some money back to spend on Oculus after they realised it's no where near finished.
