4.5
Alex Kibkalo plead guilty to theft of trade secrets on Monday for leaking Windows 8 code prior to it's official launch. Alex, a former Microsoft employee, was sentenced to three months in federal prison and a fine of $22,500 to be paid to Microsoft. He worked as a software architect for seven years at Microsoft prior to departing the company in 2012, he left to pursue a job at 5nine Software afterwards. This story brought to light a issue where Microsoft would troll user content within the Live email service for copyright infringement, they have recently came out and abolished the practice in the future.

Why do people have to leak things? It ruins the anticipation for everything! Let it be a secret because then it makes everything better.

Hearthstone I don't see why he would've done this? He ruined himself. Lost his job and now landed himself in prison with a hefty fine to pay. Pointless.

I think he might've thought he could get a away with it.
