Activision slated to pull all Guitar Hero DLC in April

4.2
Activision has announced that they intend to pull all Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero DLC from online stores this April. They relayed this information via their Facebook page and made it clear that the Guitar Hero servers will still stay online and any already purchased DLC will still function normally. As a large thank you to gamers they have lowered select Guitar Hero songs for up to 50% sale on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii until the final content purge in April. Also as part of this house cleaning Activision has decided to place the Guitar Hero mobile game on sale as well.

I just started getting back into GH last week......

It's ok, I prefer Rock Band over GH any day of the week. Definitely going to check out the DLC to see how cheap it is though. Might download a few songs.

I hope they bring Guitat Hero on the xbox one as it would be fun.

Such a shame. I'm not a fan of the new rocksmith games, guitar hero and band hero were always the best.

The game has been out for a long time so I understand why they're doing this.
I love Guitar Hero though.
