Activision slated to pull all Guitar Hero DLC in April

4.2
Activision has announced that they intend to pull all Guitar Hero, DJ Hero and Band Hero DLC from online stores this April. They relayed this information via their Facebook page and made it clear that the Guitar Hero servers will still stay online and any already purchased DLC will still function normally. As a large thank you to gamers they have lowered select Guitar Hero songs for up to 50% sale on the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii until the final content purge in April. Also as part of this house cleaning Activision has decided to place the Guitar Hero mobile game on sale as well.

I use to play Guitar Hero on my playstation 2. I loved to play self-esteem from the offspring on the first Guitar Hero!

This is sad to see, it really is. The games are still playable online and the DLC will still work, but it just shows the deterioration of what once was a lively community for an amazing game. Oh well, the best to Activision with whatever's left of CoD now.
