Possible negatives of the Xbox One headset adapter

3.8
Not all models of headsets are compatible with the upcoming head adapter, many popular headsets are flatout unusable including even the official Xbox 360 Wireless Headset and the respective Bluetooth variation. Any headset that uses the connector shown in the below is also a NO GO for usage.

A 2.5mm-to-3.5mm adapter cable is included but will only handle chat audio, if you want game audio you need additional cables.

For complete details on the adapter please refer to the Microsoft accessory page for this product below.

Theresnno point spending the money on the adapter , when you could buy a new headset for not much more

This adapter is going to have to be taken care of just like the new Apple charger cords. All these companies think that the smaller the better, but really, the older products worked just fine. I think there will be a lot of issues with the new adapter and seeing as there will not be an accessory that will allow you to use your old headset, this is going to draw a lot of people away from it.

I feel like this adapter might brake really easy if you don't take care of it. I hope it's worth the money for buying it.

I know for a fact that I'm not spending $25 on a fking piece of plastic, especially when my headset's obsolete due to the fact that Dolby Digital isn't even supported. Step your $hit up, MS.

Sanctorum Bad decision on Microsoft's part. Absolutely horrible decision. I'm positive people will be buying the PS4 for better mic support.

I don't think its that big of an issue that people would buy a whole different console for, but hey what do I know.
