Microsoft to sell black & purple Xbox 360 chrome controllers in March

Microsoft has announced two new chrome controllers for Xbox 360, coming in black and purple flavours.

Microsoft’s Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb revealed the pads over on his blog last night.

Hryb confirmed that the controllers feature a “transforming d-pad” and will launch in March at $54.99. They’ll be available exclusively at US Best Buy stores and the Microsoft store. There’s currently no word on a wider European release.

i like the controller but the only negative is the back of the controller is blac and not the color of the faceplate.

I think that these are really cool but since most people can get custom controllers everywhere on the internet, they can be found way cheaper. I think this would have been a lot cooler if they were selling these for the Xbox One.
