PlayStation Vita slim model unveiled

Sony’s new PlayStation Vita slim model unveiled by UK product manager Ben Law. Older Vita model will be replaced as stock runs dry.

The model is available to preorder from today in the UK. Sony released the PS Vita 2000 in Japan last year.

It is 20 percent thinner than the original model and 15 percent lighter. More significantly, the OLED screen has been replaced with a new LCD screen and 1GB of built-in memory.

Guess I'll have to get one of these since I did want the Ps Vita when it first came out but just didn't get around to it.

I hate this last time they did this the PSP went from Physical copy to Digital Download. Sony should stop making different versions every so often. I don't mind them making a new one now but its just ridiculous what the did to the PSP I hope my Vita doesn't end up the same way


but the psp still plays UMD's and games of a memory card if your on CFW :/


Not the PSP GO which was an updated version of the PSP. The only way to buy games for it was to buy from the PS Store.
