PlayStation Vita slim model unveiled

Sony’s new PlayStation Vita slim model unveiled by UK product manager Ben Law. Older Vita model will be replaced as stock runs dry.

The model is available to preorder from today in the UK. Sony released the PS Vita 2000 in Japan last year.

It is 20 percent thinner than the original model and 15 percent lighter. More significantly, the OLED screen has been replaced with a new LCD screen and 1GB of built-in memory.

I wonder how long it will take them to get the Slim Vita to the United States. I mean this has been in Japan for over a year and now they are finally bringing it to the Uk, I just am wondering when North America will get , even though I doubt I will buy it.

The Vita is a terrible device. My friend had one, used it twice. Such a pointless release. I doubt they will make many sales of this device.

It is a pretty good handheld console, yet it suffers from a large lack of games. I suggest waiting it out to see if the library expands at all.

I hope this version has a lot more capabilities than the previous version, i wouldn't doubt it, sony never dissapoints.

Yeah, when MS unveiled the slim people bought it because it didn't get RRoD.
