EA prepping Titanfall DLC, to 'evolve' depending on player base

4.8
We all assumed there would be DLC for Titanfall, but EA has confirmed it's currently working on supplemental content for Respawn's multiplayer shooter.

"We're planning extra content already for the product," EA boss Andrew Wilson said during today's investor call, "but in the nature of the live service, I think that that will evolve over time as we see how the player base evolves through the year." Wilson failed to offer any further details on what that content may be.

Titanfall, exclusive to the PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, is set to launch on March 11. The Xbox One and PC versions of Titanfall are currently in development at Respawn Entertainment, the outfit formed by ex-Infinity Ward heads Vince Zampella and Jason West, while Bluepoint Games is handling the Xbox 360 version.

Thank gosh. Finally a game that doesn't make all of its expansions before the game is even released. Need to see this more in the industry.

Seems like they are headed in the right direction. Developers who listen to player feedback are usually successful.

LAL EA = Battlefield 4 & Sim City. Yeeeah. Well I think I'll wait for some people to spend THEIR cash on this and find out if its worth it before I spend mine. What day is that new (any) EA release scheduled for? Er, I think I'm busy that day, get back to you later EA.

you do realize EA is the publisher and wouldn't have creative control over titan fall. BF4 and simcity were both good games which did have there problems as most games do. It isn't necessarily their fault they had problems either. They gave dice a expected release date for bf4 which dice would have agreed on and that there product would be ready for said release. Honestly EA does not deserve all the hate they get and it seems to be a trend, "oh this guy hate EA, I should too".

They deserve everything. The one DECENT thing they did was get rid of online passes for consoles. Which they shouldnt have had in the first place. Also, they rushed BF4 so fast it was awful when it first came out just because they want to beat CoD in sales.
