EA prepping Titanfall DLC, to 'evolve' depending on player base

4.8
We all assumed there would be DLC for Titanfall, but EA has confirmed it's currently working on supplemental content for Respawn's multiplayer shooter.

"We're planning extra content already for the product," EA boss Andrew Wilson said during today's investor call, "but in the nature of the live service, I think that that will evolve over time as we see how the player base evolves through the year." Wilson failed to offer any further details on what that content may be.

Titanfall, exclusive to the PC, Xbox One and Xbox 360, is set to launch on March 11. The Xbox One and PC versions of Titanfall are currently in development at Respawn Entertainment, the outfit formed by ex-Infinity Ward heads Vince Zampella and Jason West, while Bluepoint Games is handling the Xbox 360 version.

I'm not getting excited for this game. I don't want to be disappointed.

It's odd to me that respawn is handling the xb1 version and pc, and blueprint is working on the xb360

No doubt it will all be hyped but be nothing special, usually how it always turns out...

Oasis End this season pass culture we live in! I want to be surprised by dlc not expect it!

I don't see how paying for a Season Pass -- which saves you money in the long run, make it so you "don't expect the DLC"

I mean sure, maybe it will list how many you get, but it doesn't tell you what they are or when they will drop.

I'd just prefer it if it didn't feel as if the dlc was already made before the games release. Which I think is what Titanfall are doing, as in, taking their time, listening to feedback then deciding what to release as dlc.

If they think big, it will be big.

Axe So far I have only heard of good things about this game. I hope this takes over cod, because I am sick of that game being so popular.

I agree. CoD is to over rated and i hate the new CoD's. We need a new GOOD game.
