Xbox One to get 60 frames per second live sports channels

24/7 channels will deliver sports video content with integrated real-time stats and highlights.

Microsoft’s Xbox One will soon deliver live sports content streamed at 60 frames per second through 24-hour dedicated channels.

Through a partnership with NeuLion, the service will offer live sports feeds, on-demand content and real-time stats and analysis.

“NeuLion has enabled us to merge high-definition video with real-time data to create an interactive experience that is only available on Xbox One,” said Wil Mozell, GM of the Sports Entertainment Group at Microsoft.

No solid launch for the service has been mentioned.

This is very neat, but I wonder what this will do to all the other sports apps like the NFL and MLB ones released. I wonder also how many live sport games will be offered at once like only one or many different channels, or maybe one per sport?

GT-R Sounds cool but, how much will the service be?

Was wondering the same thing here.

60 FPS, nice. It's an upgrade at least.
As for the sport channels, I wish Xbox 360 offered this.
It'd come in handy quite a bit.

I wonder how much it would set you back...

60 FPS is usually really good, a lot of games run at that much frames but for this live sports content, that's actually really good.

This sounds cool and 60 fps is pretty fast. I am not into Sports though, hopefully they bring Sky back.

-Signed Just bought Madden 25 and I'm loving it atm. Was playing a couple exhibition/super bowl match, gonna start a season this weekend.

Did you play Madden on the Xbox 360 or PS3? It's the same game on the next gen. Very upset about this.

60fps is good, they could improve more but 60fps is fine.

This is cool and all, but I already have NFL Sunday ticket and all I watch is football. If this costs anything extra, most likely I will not be getting it.
