GTA Online update adds anti-cheat measures

Grand Theft Auto Online developer Rockstar North has issued an update that adds anti-cheating measures into the mix.

It’s a small update, but a post over on the Rockstar news wire reveals that he update adds, “improved anti-cheat measures,” and a, “fix for several GTA$ and RP exploits.”

Exactly what these are and how they work remains to be seen. Did you notice anything new over the weekend?

Well they can't get to everyone in one update but it did seem to cut it down.

I still got my money. It will take time to get everyone.

lol Really where are the heists? They really should add this soon

They're just making sure that it hasn't got any bugs, which i can agree with.

The thing I find funny is that they amped everyone up with the heists before the game was released and they still aren't here. I'm not complaining, I'd just be glad if they added them sooner than later.

-Signed Well hopefully this patch works. Getting tired of joining a game hoping to chill and you got these guys who did the DNS Servers and other stupid stuff to get really high rolling around in tanks.

I ended up just playing in an invite only sessions so I never had to deal with this but the few times I do go on an open server I encountered these types of people.

Do you know what will be even better news? When they announce heists. I can only imagine the skyrocket in players online when they do.
