GTA Online update adds anti-cheat measures

Grand Theft Auto Online developer Rockstar North has issued an update that adds anti-cheating measures into the mix.

It’s a small update, but a post over on the Rockstar news wire reveals that he update adds, “improved anti-cheat measures,” and a, “fix for several GTA$ and RP exploits.”

Exactly what these are and how they work remains to be seen. Did you notice anything new over the weekend?

Dorkus With the patch that rockstar came out, they really took it too far with resetting everyone's money.


I have heard they're serious this time around.


And I've heard them say that before. But they couldn't be serious about anything.

This is good that they wised up and did this because there were just too many people out there modding. It has taken some time but people have now found ways to bypass this and still host.

Yeah but if people glitch for money it ruins it for other people for example you have a tank and blowing everything up.

I agree with Honk, they have tried so hard to stop cheaters it's all out of their hands now. Potentially a very good game ruined.
