Nintendo now selling 'high-capacity' Wii U GamePad battery

4.6
The Wii U GamePad's wireless nature is kind of a figure of speech, what with how often its out-of-the-box battery life requires a charge. Nintendo's high-capacity GamePad battery has jumped shores to offer a solution to the annoyance, as long as you're willing to pay $32 for it.

The product listing states the new battery pack "offers up to 8 hours of use," which it compares to the existing GamePad battery's "3-5 hours." Users will need just a screwdriver to install it before they get back to hosting parties with Super Mario 3D World and discovering nightmare-worthy creatures in Pikmin 3.

They gotta make more money so they're upping everything.

I see how it's helpful, for some, I wouldn't buy a Wii U in the first place.

Vampiric No one plays the Wii U long enough to run out of battery.
Someone needed to say it..

Your opinion is vaild. I agree with you.

It doesn't seem expensive, also why don't they do this for other products out there?

Guess this is helpful for some, personally though, I wouldn't buy one.

True, how is the Wii U still being sold? It's not even close to the Xbox One or the PS4.

I still don't understand how the Wii U is still on the market, and still hasn't been taken out from the market!

BronyForLife Way too expensive for the battery

You must be really cheap if $32 is expensive

$32 bucks is a little expensive, but I'd rather pay more for the battery than risk screwing up my Gamepad with a shoddy substitute.
