GTA Online weekend event: GTA$ 1 million competition, discounts & more

Grand Theft Auto Online developer Rockstar North is holding a weekend event starting today, December 20. The developer is offering discount vehicles and a will grant five job creators GTA$ 1 million for their efforts.


Details of the event were posted over on the Rockstar News Wire today. It’ll run from today, December 20 until close of play December 22.

For starters, you can buy the Adder sports car, Dinka Double-T bike and Buzzard chopper at 25% off.

Player-created Deathmatch and Race events can be entered free of charge all weekend, and Rockstar will be hand-picking five created jobs and awarding their creators GTA$ 1 million in prize money for their efforts. They’ll also receive an exclusive vanity license plate.

There’s also a new round of GTA Online sweepstakes with real and in-game prizes.

I'm thinking about buying Test Drive Unlimited 2 again, it had an open world plus I had some crazy (real) cars, plenty of garages to store them and even a crew that could do missions together no problem.

Now that I remember how good that game was, I miss GTA even less, seeing as GTA is just a racing grief simulation.

It baffles me how many people defend this game. R* do not care about you. The sooner some of you idiots out there realise that the quicker we can move on and maybe even stop half built games being released in the future.

Still no multiple garages though and still no Heist DLC gg R* . This game has been destroyed and they just do not care. Now they try to buy us off with a a chance to get 1 million igm and an exclusive yes you read correctly an exclusive vanity plate -_____- .

Patch the game and give us the DLC so we can enjoy the game .

Not everyone takes part in the modded lobbies. There is legit gamers out there who will try their hardest to win the event.

Either way, Rockstar are doing a good job for community events.
