Dying Light PS4 gameplay footage runs at 1080p

A new video for Dying Light shows the zombie survival game running at 1080p on the PlayStation 4.

Developed by the studio responsible for the Dead Island series, Dying Light is an open world zombie survival game with a focus on parkour traversal.

The footage below, which aired during the VGX Awards at the weekend, shows how melee combat, zombie damage and parkour works in action.

Published by Warner Bros., Dying Light will release for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4 some time in 2014. The game is said to feature "a game-changing day-night cycle" and will be set in a "vast open world".

The video below follows an extensive 12 minute gameplay video released earlier this year.

It can't be the next call of duty because what I'm seeing is a new l4d type game where you just fight through AI with your friends and explore the map

Debris Let's see if the XBone will be able to run this at 1080p or have another gimped version of a multi-plat game.


Well the new Tomb Raider game coming out on both consoles has been confirmed for 1080p on both systems, so I don't know why people are saying this will be 720p on the Xbox One ?

Anyway il pass on this game, it looks like dead island in fast forward and while dead island one was fun on co op I'm just not sure how different it can be

If you think it will be a good game i bet it will be worth the wait. You also need to take into account that developers may be holding it off a little as a lot more people will own current generation consoles next year
