EA investigating Battlefield 4 Second Assault DLC issues on Xbox One

An EA representative has acknowledged reports that some users are unable to download Battlefield 4's Second Assault DLC on Xbox One.

Featuring four Battlefield 3 maps reimagined using the Frostbite 3 engine, the DLC is a timed exclusive offering on Microsoft's next-gen console.

But a number of new Battlefield Premium members have reported being unable to download Second Assault after purchasing the DLC subscription package.

EA representative EA_Rick said on Battlelog: "I know some of you have said already that it is being looked into but I wanted to just confirm it for you so you guys have a blue post to refer to. Right now all I can say is that we are aware of this issue and are currently investigating this with Microsoft. Once we have some more details I'll be sure to let you know."

Second Assault is one of five Battlefield 4 expansions due for release by the summer of 2014. They can be pre-purchased as part of the £39.99 / $50 Battlefield Premium subscription offering. The other four expansions are China Rising, Naval Strike, Dragon's Teeth and Final Stand.

That's right Rougue. xb1 timed dlc = by the time it's fixed, everyone else will have it anyway. I'm impressed by China Rising. I saw new videos on youtube(filter this week). I think they're represent better value, given that i will get them as part of the physical copy purchase. I was playing those BF3 maps not so long ago, so i'm in no hurry to get them again. I think they gave the wrong maps away for free, from a business standpoint anyway. The jungle map looks cool.

The game looks amazing, I would love to get the game. But, it seems like there is a lot of bugs on this game as of now, that is!

This game seems broken. Thats unfortunate. I want this game but I think I am going to wait till all of the bugs are ironed out.

They have so many more important issues they need to fix. Like my campaign reseting for the 8th time.
