Xbox One stock to be held in reserve at Microsoft Stores on launch day

4.6
If Xbox One console pre-orders are sold out at nearby specialist games stores, you may be able to pick one up at your local Microsoft Store.

Microsoft told Gamespot that all of its official stores throughout Canada and the US will have non pre-order stock for sale on launch day.

Supply is limited, and since you can’t pre-order these ones, you’ll probably want to be there early – but you may still have a better chance than if you queue up for the midnight launch at EB Games or Gamestop; many chain store outlets have sold through their day one allocations already. Online retailers like Amazon have also run out.

You can find your nearest Microsoft Store using the company’s locator tool.

The Xbox One launches in North America and West Europe on November 22.

After launch day, I really doubt Microsoft will have a lot of Consoles left for reserve!

GossipPosted:

Nearest Microsoft store is hours away but I got mine preordered so I should be good.

These will go so quick lol

There should be consoles there that haven't been pre-ordered. I'd actually expect them to sell a lot...

I have preordered and cancelled so many times that I am going to wait until a fix ed console will come out (we know there will be at least some issues).

TomorrowLand Well i don't have a store near me but luckily i got mine pre-ordered

I don't have a store near me neither.

Katsumi This is pretty convenient. Too bad that i don't have a store anywhere near my location

I'd rather pre-order it than buy it from a Microsoft Store. It's more hassle but probably cheaper in a way.
