CoD: Ghosts high-res texture pack takes up to 30 minutes to download

The high-res texture pack for Call of Duty: Ghosts on PlayStation 4 will take around 10-15 minutes to install, Infinity Ward has said. It can take up to 30 minutes though, if you’re playing while it’s still installing in the background. “Unfortunately, there’s no way to see the progress of when it’s complete,” said the developer. “Once complete, you’ll see the high-res textures in-game.” Infinity Ward announced earlier this week the day-one patch for Call of Duty: Ghosts brings the single-player campaign up from 720p to 1080p.

Start the download when you're about to go eat dinner or run to the store.
It will be done by the time you get back.

The Xbox One doesn't need it.
It comes standard.

Xbone has better GPU than PS4.

I wonder why downloads take so long on the PS4 even for people with good internet.
That is kind of annoying.

It would of been much more convenient if they came up with a way to allow us to do so.

30 minutes really isn't that long, it good though that people will still be able to play with it is downloading.

It shouldn't pose too much problems. It may result in a little bit of lag though
