View your photos and videos at Xbox One's launch using SkyDrive app

4.8
Microsoft announced that the SkyDrive app will launch with the Xbox One on November 22. SkyDrive, which was added to the Xbox 360 in December 2012, allows players to view and share personal photos and videos on the home console.

The cloud-based service will work with the Xbox One's snap features, so players can use Xbox Music in tandem with SkyDrive to set slideshows to their own soundtrack on the TV. Microsoft's announcement blog also notes zooming and panning controls, specifically noting that players can zoom in to 4K resolution photos of places like city landscapes and sports arenas. Now if the matching Kinect voice command for such a feature were "Xbox, enhance," we'd be totally sold.

Not something I think gamer's will be needing on a gaming console.

This seems like a pretty convenient feature, while i don't think i will be using it very often i will be sure to give it a go once i get my hands on the console.

Maybe we could store game data in the cloud and have the launch apps on the dashboard? If every game is as massive as it is then there is going to be a big storage problem. If I have to buy a 1tb external USB I'm gunna cry.

I think this is quite a nice feature, it sort of makes xbox like facebook with picture sharing etc and it would be nice to be able to share pictures with xbox live friends of a time you went to a party or something. Looks great.

Seems like a really cool feature of the Xbox One, I'll have to give this a try once I purchase a Xbox one.
