Xbox One white special edition being auctioned off for charity

A white Xbox One commemorative special edition is being auctioned off on ebay with the proceeds going to UK-based charity GamesAid.

The white system was only made available to the console’s launch team and comes with a white controller and black Kinect camera.

Bidding ends at 3:07pm on Friday, November 8, and at press time, the current bid stands at £1000.00 and is rising.

They did.
I wish they sold the white version in stores and a certain percentage went towards charity.

I believe it got up to $11k.
Way more than I would be willing to pay but some corporation probably bought it and will never even use it.
Just a tax write off.

Although they White Xbox One is sexy as hell, I wouldn't pay that much for it.
I would rather just pay to get it custom painted and save the few hundred dollars.

I'm expecting that they will earn a considerable amount of money. It is the launch team edition, some collectors would love to have that console


im sure some collectors will pay large sums of money for an item like this.
