Call of Duty: Ghosts gameplay trailer stars Free Fall map

4.5
Activision has fired off a new Call of Duty: Ghosts gameplay trailer staring the Free Fall multiplayer map.

As the publisher describes, "Free Fall drops you into a shattered skyscraper on the brink of collapse. Sideways staircases climb into the night sky, elevator shafts run along the ground, and what were once windows now form a terrifying glass floor, hundreds of feet above the city streets."

Free Fall is dubbed a 'dynamic map' since the gradual collapse of the building affects the layout of the map as the match progresses.

Free Fall is being offered as a pre-order exclusive map. Players who pre-order the game at the usual participating retails will get a code to download the map on the day of launch.

Activision has confirmed a Call of Duty: Ghosts release date of November 5 on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC.

The game will also be a launch title for Xbox One and PS4. Developer Infinity Ward confirmed recently that the Xbox One version of the game will run at a 720p (1280x720) resolution, while the PS4 version will push out 1080p (1920x1080).

i like the idea, most ideas sound good on paper or in text but i end up not liking it. Well see how IW plays this one out.

I find that the trailers always make the game seem better then it actually is.

I feel as though it's constant changing environment is going to become something more of an annoyance rather then actual "dynamic" motion to the map. It's nice to know there is difference and progression being made to CoD, but this kinda map isn't something you throw right on in to players, it's the equivalent of using players as guinea pigs for a beta map.
