Call of Duty: Ghosts gameplay trailer stars Free Fall map

4.5
Activision has fired off a new Call of Duty: Ghosts gameplay trailer staring the Free Fall multiplayer map.

As the publisher describes, "Free Fall drops you into a shattered skyscraper on the brink of collapse. Sideways staircases climb into the night sky, elevator shafts run along the ground, and what were once windows now form a terrifying glass floor, hundreds of feet above the city streets."

Free Fall is dubbed a 'dynamic map' since the gradual collapse of the building affects the layout of the map as the match progresses.

Free Fall is being offered as a pre-order exclusive map. Players who pre-order the game at the usual participating retails will get a code to download the map on the day of launch.

Activision has confirmed a Call of Duty: Ghosts release date of November 5 on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U and PC.

The game will also be a launch title for Xbox One and PS4. Developer Infinity Ward confirmed recently that the Xbox One version of the game will run at a 720p (1280x720) resolution, while the PS4 version will push out 1080p (1920x1080).

Rocky5 First, game looks ok, guess the saying if it ain't broke don't fix it, comes to mind.

But this part of the article.

This is blatant fanboy catnip, what the hell does this have to do with a trailer?

i was also thinking that. and thinking about how much bull that is. im hoping it looks just like how the battlefield 4 comparison did. xboxone was clearly was better, even though everyone said the ps4 was supposed to have a better resolution. graphics looked blurry and everything was the same color.
I agree. It looked a lot more natural and cinematic on the Xbox One...

-CP I really do not like that map, from what I have seen.....

It looks too much off Downturn off Modern Warfare 3.

SliceFX Another typical looking COD...

Correct. Just typical isn't it.

Thlack Still deciding if I want this game or not. It looks alright, but I am probably getting PS4 within the first two weeks of its launch, so buying yet another Xbox game would server no purpose.

this game looks like the most versatile call of duty yet, if you have friends that play with you anyways. Lots of new gamemodes and gametypes. and if you buy it for the current gen, you only have to pay 10 more dollars for the next gen console. worth it in my opinion.

On the good side the map looks pretty fast paced. On the bad side I don't like dark maps that much, i'll have to wait and see.
