Call of Duty: Ghosts PC only requires 40GB of space, 6GB of RAM

Call of Duty: Ghosts will only require 40GB of hard drive space on PC, rather than the 50GB an unofficial system requirements list Nvidia released last week. However, the game will still require 6GB of RAM and a 64-bit operating system.

Below are the official Minimum System Requirements:

OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / Windows 8 64-Bit
CPU: Intel® Core™ 2 Duo E8200 2.66 GHZ / AMD Phenom™ X3 8750 2.4 GHZ or better
Memory: 6 GB RAM
Hard Disk Space: 40 GB
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTS 450 / ATI® Radeon™ HD 5870 or better
Sound: DirectX compatible sound card
DirectX®: DirectX® 11
Internet: Broadband Internet connection for Steam and Online Multiplayer.

Are you ready for the game’s launch on November 5? I bet there’s going to be a lot of upgrading going on in the next few months as people bring their PCs in line with new console requirements.

I love how they use the word ''only''. 40GB for a CoD game is quite steep. Compare it to the others like CoD4 and there is a massive leap. Hopefully this game won't be boring after 1 month of playing like they all have since blops.

The game doesn't need 6GB your PC needs to have 6GB at the least. The windows OS, steam and other programs you have running will be chomping up at least 2GB leaving 4gb+ for the game to use if needed

Urf Oh, OK. Only 6GB of RAM and 40G of space. Too much for a **** game.


You do know most new games now a days take up around that amount.
