Titanfall announcement teased, new screenshot released

The official Titanfall Twitter account has served up a new screenshot, as well as the promise of a new announcement later this week.

The Twitter account promises a "special announcement" tomorrow, along with the text "Be the First to Fall into Titanfall".

Titanfall is among the most anticipated next-gen titles. Respawn hopes to "expand the boundaries" of what online multiplayer is capable of, according to producer Drew McCoy.

The studio also hopes Titanfall will encourage other major studios to focus on new IP.

Titanfall will release in 2014 for Xbox One and PC.

I'm not really a fan of the new image. I would much rather it be in a different setting such as a city environment. But beggars can't be choosers i guess. I should be getting this game for PC a month or so after release

Picture doesn't reveal much but I think it is going to be a good game, developers were saying it will be the "cod killer", I'm not sure how considering it has no relations to cod in my opinion.
