Titanfall announcement teased, new screenshot released

The official Titanfall Twitter account has served up a new screenshot, as well as the promise of a new announcement later this week.

The Twitter account promises a "special announcement" tomorrow, along with the text "Be the First to Fall into Titanfall".

Titanfall is among the most anticipated next-gen titles. Respawn hopes to "expand the boundaries" of what online multiplayer is capable of, according to producer Drew McCoy.

The studio also hopes Titanfall will encourage other major studios to focus on new IP.

Titanfall will release in 2014 for Xbox One and PC.

Just another CoD kid. How does something suck when you haven't played it yet? If anything, this game should appeal to the CoD crowd because it is similar, but it has a parkour system and has mechs called "Titans." This game looks really fun.

Because they're bothered about is Call of Duty. To them, everything sucks. I love Call of Duty but this game sounds sick. Just the screen shot has kind of put me of a bit.

I'm a call of duty fan as well, well I was. I don't see how you can really judge a game without playing it first. Hopefully it is amazing :)

I really hate the fact that this on Xbox One only since i'm getting a PS4 :/

What is this? Did I just see a PlayStation fan make a fair/contributing/respectful/non-trolling/mature/unbiased comment? I tip my hat to you, sir. You are surely welcome among us. Personally, I have a lot of respect for both Microsoft and Sony. I plan to own both next gen consoles. Since I am not overtly wealthy, I will buy them one at a time but I will own them both. I have grown so accustomed to trolls and fanboys that I often forget there are other level-headed gamers out there as well, who are simply excited for next gen instead of getting caught up in the bickering. Thank you for restoring my faith in the PlayStation community. For what it is worth, PS4 has some pretty sweet exclusives as well. I would love to get my hands on Infamous: Second Son. That game looks like a blast.

That's great and all but what does any of this have to do with the post? Also, insinuating that Sony fans only talk trash(and xbox/pc doesn't) is naive of you.

OT: This game looks great and from what I've played, it is still a bit clunky to say the least. I'm sure that'll change though. As long as they keep it simple and don't try to " innovate" b.s. features ( like certain franchises) they should be alright. They don't need to be a "cod killer" as cod has been dying (quality wise) for years and its community will slowly kill itself.
