FIFA 14 patch released, EA aware of freezing reports

4.5
EA Sports has released a FIFA 14 title update to address a number of issues, while also confirming that it's investigating reports of the game freezing for some users.

In a post on the company's website, a community manager explained that the day one patch addresses "stability issues found in the closed beta and minor fixes to a couple game mode (Skill Games, Creation Centre) items".

Based on feedback gathered from the demo and early access period, EA also plans to tweak the effectiveness of headers from corner kicks and crosses, the effectiveness of finesse shots, and the accuracy of lofted through-balls.

"Finally," the community manager said, "we're aware that some users are experiencing freezes during the game. We continue to investigate these reports internally, and with our partners, and will update the community when we know more."

The game launched yesterday in the US ahead of the FIFA 14 release date of September 27 throughout Europe.

I'm glad they fixed it, freezing games are the most annoying thing ever.

I'm guessing this is for the BETA or has it already came out?

TomorrowLand Aware like 2 days before release pretty pointless to release it now :|

At least they are patching it and not leaving it for ages and letting people exploit it etc.
