I'm confused as to why this must wait until the next-gen consoles. BF3 and other games have had dedicated servers for a while now on the current generation consoles, why is it that only the the next gen are getting dedicated servers on CoD?

another reason why i envy the next generation.
they wont even know what lag is

I like the fact that its only for the Xbox One. So the 360 version of the game will be probably horrible with lag and host disadvantage problems..... No surprise that they are using Microsofts servers rather than buying their own like EA causing the difference of availability for the systems... I guess they need to get several hundred more million dollars in a billion dollar series to make such a important issue...

finally. now the lag will not be a huge issue. maybe people will like the games more because there is no lag!
