PS4 dev kit interface shown during Blacklight: Retribution demo

4.7
PlayStation 4′s dev kit interface has been shown during a demo by Blacklight: Retribution developer Zombie Studios.

The clip comes courtesy of MoejoeWins, although it’s unclear where it originated from. If you happen to know, please do shoot us a comment. We suspect it came from part of Machinima’s recent Blacklight: Retribution PS4 live stream, which you can find here.

The UI can be seen locking up – as this is a very early dev kit and pre-alpha build of the game – but it seems to recover quite well. You can also see interface icons and hear some responsive sounds throughout the clip. There also appears to be icons for a web browser and downloads.

What do you think?

The OS is about finished still a couple more things to do but I think it looks nice. It doesn't really matter to me anyway because I'm going to be playing games and not staying at the OS :)

I like it, looks very neat in fact, a lot nicer than the PS3 interface.

It most likely is, they may change a few small things.

I assume that its not finished but it looks alright. The UI hasnt been the best on the ps3 but its not terrible. Its not like you cant find your way through the menus

HDITeRRoRiZeI Can't wait to get my hands on the Xbox devkit for free

I doubt it. Also how is that relevant to this?

OT: If those menu sounds are included in the full final build there better be an option to turn them off, reminded me of the old sounds pc's used to make when you mash too many keys.

There is always a catch with microsoft. All they said is that every xbox one can become a devkit. Probebly at the cost of an extra 500 dollars. Again a fanboy thinks he knows it all

your such a hater 500 extra thats **** retarded probably a one time fee of 200

I doubt they would make it that you pay $200 to make your console run unsigned code.
