Saints Row IV: 10-minute gameplay walkthrough video

Here's a new Saints Row IV gameplay video in which the game's senior producer Jim Boone walks you through new gameplay mechanics.


The first half of the video serves up scenes in the early stages of the game as the alien invasion of Earth commences, before moving on to demonstrate some of the super powers you'll get later in the game.

yay I don't get the constant bashing on this game. It may be COMPLETELY off track from the saints row series, but it looks stupidly fun. A video game is supposed to be stuff you couldn't ever do. Being the president? Fighting aliens? That sounds fun.


Unrealistic games are fun to an extent. Everyone is just hoping that Saints row 4 doesn't cross that fine line. Being the president does sound pretty cool though. I don't think people should judge the game based on a concept, it seems pretty cool to me

Busselton It's banned in Australia, they can go get screwed, the majority of the people that will buy this are 12 year olds. Saints Row 1 and 2 were the good old days, SR3 was fun but to futureristic, but now we are the president? :|


It's not the developers fault that the game was banned in Australia. It was the government who made the decision to ban it. I believe that we should hold off on harsh comments until the game actually comes on then go from there

Exactly right? I mean the player is the president of the U.S, what the hell is the point of being a gangsta now?

It looks a little over the top in my opinion. While i like saints row for its wackiness i like my games to keep even a small degree of realism. Hopefully this one is better than saints row 3

They completely **** this series in the ass...

This used to be a somewhat realistic gang shooter similar to GTA but had it's own unique attributes but slowly every year they **** up the series with every game and this one is just....like why do this?

I will be buying this game on release date (hopefully) i have been waiting for this gameplay since i saw the reveal trailer
