A smiling Jack Tretton revealed that the PlayStation 4 will have no restrictions on used games and will not require an always-on internet connection for single-player games.

"Yes, that's a good thing," he said to a cheering crowd.

Sony also announced that trading, lending and selling of games will be permitted, and purchasing a game means that it is owned by the consumer forever.

the system won't require any sort of online authentication for disc-based games.

Xbox only requires a Connection every 24 hours, so why should you care? Whether or not you have xbox live? It will have no impact. Second, Xbox One supports used games, plus there is no fee. So whoever wrote this article trying to piss off Xbox players. It didn't work because you don't have your facts straight.
